On December 1st, 2004, Quaxar began its collaboration with Hewlett-Packard (HP) of the development of the CRM strategy for the Latin American market.
Customer Relationship Management(CRM), refers to the managing of an enterprise's relationship with its clients. Within this area, HP interacts with its customers to provide them with better service through personalized customer care. QUAXAR's goal has been to strengthen this bond by providing the necessary tools for the needs of Hewlett-Packard's clients.
Many significant events
have taken place for Hewlett-Packard while
working hand-in-hand with QUAXAR's experienced
consultants. A few of these are: the creation
of HP NEWS monthly newsletter, the SERVICE
AND WARRANTY monthly campaign, as well
as the management of client information.
QUAXAR, is also involved
in many other activities with HP such
as: planning, message creation, and fundamental
metrics analysis which help to determine
the results and levels of service accomplished
by HP.
The development of these
activities has generated significant improvement
for HP Latin America CRM services through
the synergy and added value that QUAXAR's
team contributes in their daily efforts.

Mexico D.F., November 10, 2004. Mexican
President Vicente Fox Quesada today inaugurated
the 2004 Government Expo, held in Mexico
City. Soon after, President Fox visited
the QUAXAR display, and congratulated
the team on their work and their contribution
to the Expo. With a warm handshake for
Managing Director Leonel Azuela, the President
wished the company luck in its forthcoming
projects.
For the 8th consecutive year, nearly
150 government institutions, state entities,
and private companies took centre stage
at the Banamex Center from November 10th
through 12th for the annual Government
Expo. QUAXAR participated as one of the
most thorough exhibitors.
QUAXAR put on an extensive
show, exhibiting many different government
technology tools such as: e-government
strategies, portals and intranets, digitization
and document management processes, and
automization and data monitoring tools.
QUAXAR displayed many of its e-government
solutions, which have won international
awards including:

most important e-government event in Mexico.

of QUAXAR’s participation
QUAXAR and IBM to present to CFE at
the 3rd National Meeting of Superintendents, to be
held in Acapulco in October 2004.
On October 7 and 8, 2004,
QUAXAR México and IBM de México will
present their services and solutions to the electricity
sector through the Generation Division of the Federal
Electricity Commission (CFE). This event will be the
3rd National Meeting of CFE Generating Plant Superintendents,
to be held in Acapulco, Guerrero.
Leonel
Azuela, Managing Director of QUAXAR, declared that“we
are very happy to be presenting not only our Regional
Energy Monitoring and Measurement System (SIMMER),
a hugely successful tool which we have installed in
over 80 generating plants in Mexico, but that we also
be able to show the portfolio of technology solutions
that IBM brings to QUAXAR to assist in resolution
of operating issues and data management in electricity
generating plants.”
Guillermo
Villegas, expert in data management in the electricity
sector and head of IBM de México's CFE practice, points
out that “QUAXAR is key to the creation and
implementation of IBM solutions for the Mexican electricity
sector, and we could not pass up this opportunity
to present ourselves as a team in front of such an
important audience.
Among
the topics to be covered during the 3rd National Meeting
of CFE Generating Plant Superintendents will be a
number of issues related to the management and operation
of thermoelectric and hydroelectric generating plants,
as well as the presentation of better practices in
activities related to electricity generating plants
in Mexico and elsewhere in the world.
QUAXAR-IBM receives recognition from CFE
Senior Management for their valuable contribution
to the National Convention.
On October 7th and 8th, QUAXAR and IBM were
two of the few businesses chosen by the
Federal Electricity Commission’s Generating
Division to participate in the Third National
Convention for Generation Plant Superintendents.
Other participants included SIEMENS and
General Electric.
During the Convention,
QUAXAR presented its portfolio of innovative
data monitoring solutions, which include
cameras for industrial data, mobile data
and image capturing systems, as well as
data management using the latest generation
of handheld or PDA equipment.
Together with IBM and
Symbol de México, QUAXAR presented
a variety of joint solutions for generating
plants and for the electricity sector
in general. These companies, market leaders
in their respective areas, and recipients
of various awards both in Mexico and elsewhere,
put their most advanced technology on
show.
CFE executives were very
pleased with QUAXAR-IBM and Symbol’s
involvement in the Convention, and hope
to see these companies demonstrate newly
developed technologies at next year’s
event. QUAXAR was officially recognized
by a number of senior CFE officials, including
Managing Director Ing. Alfredo Elías
Ayub.

Commerce awards QUAXAR as “Outstanding
Company of the Year 2004”.
Miami, FL. Every September,
the US-MEXICO Chamber of Commerce celebrates
Mexican Independence Day with an elaborate
expo and cocktail reception. This year
was no exception. A marvellous event was
held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Coconut
Grove, attended by the most important
business leaders and influential companies
in Mexico-U.S. bilateral business.
At the event the Chamber
recognized its outstanding members and

In his acceptance speech,
Leonel Azuela, Managing Director, of Quaxar

investors, to build QUAXAR”. He
also emphasized the clear benefits of
working with the Chamber of Commerce,
saying “just as QUAXAR offers effective
technology tools to business, the Chamber

the United States”.
During the last 2 years,
there has been significant growth in the
Mexican business community in the Southeastern
United States. Rates of growth are increasing
each year.
