Same as every year, all the Quaxar team members got together for our Annual meeting, this time at the Piso 51 in Mexico city, where we enjoy an amazing view. During this time, we discussed our strategy for the following year and closed the day by chilling out, exchanging gifts and whishing each other the best wishes for 2010. Quaxar participated in the "Ciudades Digitales" event in the city of Veracruz.

On October 21 and 22 Quaxar participated in the X Latin American Digital Cities ("Ciudades Digitales") Meeting in Veracruz, Mexico. The event was organized by AHCIET and the GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE OF VERACRUZ. Digital Cities has become a unique platform for the exchange of best practices in the application of Information Technologies and Communication Technologies in all areas of community life. The meeting brings together national and local authorities, representatives of international organizations and the private sector, experts and citizens to reflect on, analyze and discuss new developments and challenges of implementing ITC in local government. This time the meeting was organized under the slogan "THE CITY AS A KEY FACTOR OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT: THE OPPORTUNITY OF THE USE OF ITC". Two days of meetings were divided into thematic panels with keynote speeches, debates, round tables and workshops which addressed best practices.

Quaxar's Social Responsibility Project, "Por los que no tienen Voz".

Quaxar has joined with a non-for-profit "Por los que no tienen voz - www.porlosquenotienenvoz.org" on a pro-bono project to give a voice to those who can't speak for themselves - animals.

HPHewlett-Packard Latin America launched its "Scholarship contest" with Quaxar providing the infrastructure to pick out the fastest respondents to general knowledge questions. The campaign proved to be very successful, particularly through its viral components.

LifeScanLifeScan, a Division of Johnson and Johnson, has selected Quaxar to support its Loyalty Program (ConTacto). The kick-off took place last week and the scope includes predictive analysis, ROI Models and the communications strategy for Key Segments. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with J&J.

 
Quaxar goes back to Panama for the "Seminario de Comunicación Integrada".

Quaxar, represented by Miguel Molina-Cosculluela, went to Panama, a country taking enourmous steps in the digital race. The Seminar was coordinated by the Mexican school "Tec de Monterrey" and topics including CRM, the power of a database, web 2.0, the value of the brand and many more were discussed over a 2 day period.

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.
