CRM & E-marketing: Successful case studies
Given the importance and relevance of interactive e-marketing and e-loyalty programs in the US and Latin America, Miguel Molina shared different case studies with current MBA students at the Adolfo Ibañez School of Management (AISM) in Miami. 35 top Latin American executives from 13 different countries and 22 companies participated in the conference where Miguel Molina addressed the need for relevant communication and client consent when approach clients and prospects. In his words, “Content is the King, while Reputation is the Queen in every email communication”. Miguel also pointed out how consumers are acquiring control, hence the need to shift the emphasis for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to CMR (Customer Managing Relations).
The Miami-based Adolfo Ibañez School of Management has chosen Smart Emails powered by Quaxar as its official communication tool. Smart Emails will take the prestigious school’s online communication efforts to a completely new level.

Branding and Recruiting for a Web 2.0 Generation.
Miguel Molina (Director of Business Development, Quaxar ) and Luis Casas (Director of Marketing and Recruiting, Florida International University) gave a presentation on the successful multimedia branding campaign that Quaxar developed for FIU to the Association of Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business.
They shared their experiences on how the innovative campaign drove participants to the special micro site www.uncommonthinkers.com and how the e-mail marketing campaign for prospective students was developed. They also explained how the campaign was integrated with the school's CRM software for event registration and participant communication. The conference was held on March 8 in Chicago.
Business Alumni Conference focuses on hot business issues.
On March 27, 2008, South Florida executives, business alumni, students, and faculty attended the third annual Business Alumni Conference, sponsored by Microsoft.
The event began with a luncheon and an opening presentation by Dmitry Vasilevsky, from Microsoft. This was followed by panel discussions on current topics such as the state of global business, e-marketing, and recruiting during hard economic times:
The Creating Loyalty: E-Marketing Magic! panel was moderated by Luis Casas, director of marketing and recruiting. Panelists included Leonel Azuela, founder and CEO of Quaxar; Tatiana Lopez, marketing manager for MySpace Latino, and Andrea Arnau, managing director of Alma DDB Interactive.
The panel was thoughtful, provocative, and engaging. There was terrific interaction among panelists and attendees.

On February 14, Haydee Arreola (Marketing Consultant, Quaxar) was invited to participate in a radio chat held by ITESM Virtual University. 100+ students from Latin America showed their interest in learning about Corporate Image and how Quaxar has participated in various successful cases. Haydee answered questions about new trends in digital marketing, and the importance of building customer loyalty. One of the recurrent questions was related to best practices in CRM operations and e-mail marketing campaigns. The interview had great impact for the students.
