Something really strange is happening right now. It seems like everybody has caught the World Cup fever. My husband, for instance, suffers from socceritis. He just can't help it and I really don't know what to do with all this crazy addiction.

Anyone who knows me knows that when it comes to football, I'm an England fan all the way. No matter how miserable their performance on the pitch, the next time there's a match I'll be there with my England shirt on and my flag waving happily from the front of the house.

Bringing lunch to work in reusable containers is likely the greenest (and healthiest) way to eat at work. Getting delivery and takeout almost inevitably ends with a miniature mountain of packaging waste. But if you do order delivery, join coworkers in placing a large order (more efficient than many separate ones). Also, bring in a reusable plate, utensils, and napkins. If you do go out for lunch, try biking or walking instead of driving.
