You might have heard of thousands of different VoIP programs for you to stay connected every time to your most beloved ones. We did a brief summary of the most successful ones for you to choose the one that fits the most to your needs, and we hope you love them as we do:

–          Skype: With 600 million registered users, Skype has turned into an essential tool in computers and smartphones. Skype gives you a complete service: Do free calls between Skype accounts, use it as online phone with a really low rate so you can do international calls, use it with WiFi or 3G / 4G data plan. It also gives you the chance to send messages and chat with your contacts.

–          Viber:  This app. works with iOS, Blackberry, Android, Windows Phone, Nokia and Bada. Once you download it in your mobile you can send free text, calling, photo messages and location-sharing with Viber users. It instantly integrates with your own contact list, and best-quality mobile calls using 3G or Wi-Fi.

–          Facetime: First of all, you need an iPhone, iPod, iPad or Mac. In the settings you’ll need to turn on the Facetime part for your device to accept calls through Facetime. If you’re doing the call, you just dial it as normal and if the Facetime icon appears, click on it. Automatically your camera will switch to ON and the person you’re calling will decide if they take it or not.

–          Pinger: If you have an Android, then go with Pinger: A textfree and free calling app. You can call to any phone including landlines and non-smartphones, in the US and Canada. Your contacts don’t need to have Pinger. You get your own real phone number that you can use to call and SMS any phone number in Canada and the US, even if you don’t have a calling plan.

–          Tango: Free video and voice calling for Android, iPhone and Windows Phone. It connects automatically to your contacts list and shows you who has Tango already.
