Multi-Platform Design for Mobile Devices

When we think about the current needs in the world of mobile apps, we see the need to further develop apps for the different industrial sectors, bearing in mind the wide variety of mobile devices available in the market.

As each device has its own development software, developing apps for all existing devices is a highly expensive task; therefore the creation of apps has been focused to meet only the needs of most popular devices, leaving part of the market unattended.

Nowadays, with the multiplatform mobile design the problem has been solved and the cost to cover all existing market possibilities reduced.

However, even though there are many tools available for this type of multiplatform development, we must bear in mind that they all present certain limitations; thus, when selecting our app we must analyze which one would be the one that better meets our needs.

It is not my intention to explain every single one available; I just want to introduce the topic to those that know little or nothing about it.

The following is a list of the most popular tools, as I said before we must study each one to decide which meets our needs in a better way.

As conclusion, currently we must reach the highest number of potential customers, task which can be done through their mobile devices; the economic and time cost thereto, however, should not be as high as it is. This is our opportunity to really investigate more about available tools in the world of mobile devices so we are not left behind in the speedy journey of technology.

Desarrollo multiplataforma para móviles

Pensando en las necesidades actuales en el mundo de las aplicaciones móviles, existe la necesidad de crear APPS para los diferentes sectores de industria existentes, así como para la variedad de dispositivos actuales.

Hace un tiempo el realizar esto para los diferentes dispositivos existentes resultaba en un alto costo debido a que cada tipo de dispositivo cuenta con un software de desarrollo propio, lo cual hacia que por lo general se inclinaran hacia uno o dos tipos de dispositivos los cuales abarcaban la mayoría del mercado lo cual significaba el perder parte del mercado entre otros factores.

Sin embargo, con las herramientas que han surgido para el desarrollo móvil multiplataforma esto se ha solucionado en gran manera y ha reducido el costo que implicaba abarcar el extenso mercado existente.

Si bien es cierto que existen varias herramientas para este tipo de desarrollo multiplataforma hay que tener en cuenta que todas tienen sus limitantes, por lo que a la hora de elegir alguna para nuestra aplicación debemos hacer un análisis de cuál es la que mejor se adapta a nuestras necesidades.

Este artículo no intenta explicar cada una de ellas, el fin es introducir en este tema a quienes han tenido poco o ningún contacto con él.

La siguiente lista es sobre algunas de las herramientas más conocidas y utilizadas actualmente, sin embargo, como mencione anteriormente se necesita investigar cada una de ellas para saber cuál es la que se adapta mejor a lo que necesitemos.

En conclusión, en la actualidad se necesita poder llegar al mayor número de clientes potenciales lo cual se puede lograr mediante sus dispositivos móviles, pero el costo tanto económico como de tiempo no debería ser alto, aquí es donde entran estas herramientas. Investigando un poco más acerca de ellas podemos ingresar si aún no lo hemos hecho al mundo de las aplicaciones móviles y no quedarnos atrás en el avanzado paso de la tecnología.
